Week 2, Day 7
Many of the activities posted here are ways to meet your child’s individual goals. Here are some questions to think about while working with your child and do your best to address them:
How should he/she be holding the scissors while cutting? Is their other hand holding the paper?
Are they using the appropriate grasp while coloring or writing?
How long can he/she sit for and attend to a task? What are some ways to help extend these times?
Can he/she ask (words or pictures) for what they want? Can he/she wait appropriately for an item they want?
Can they match/sort/identify colors?
Can he/she identify/label common objects in the environment?
There are many more questions to think about it and over the next few days I will ask some more.
Do these questions bring up any questions of your own? If so, please let me know and we can discuss any concerns you may have.
